Guth is represented by the Elizabeth Leach Gallery in Portland and Cristin Tierney Gallery in New York, NY, and is a long-time faculty member of the Pacific Northwest College of Art.
For Converge 45, Guth premiered Choreography for Reading Aloud at the Reed College Library. This site-specific performance work and installation functions to activate a library, literary collection, bookstore or site with consumable texts of any sort. Performers are given texts from the site to read aloud creating a cacophony of sounds where stories collide with facts, theory, opinions, lists… Says the artist, “In this work the object that most often remains quiet has the volume turned up.”
