Featured Artists:  Anna Fidler, Ariana Jacobs, Chris Johanson, Jamal Smith, Jessica Jackson Hutchins, Jess Perlitz, Judy Cooke, Melanie Flood, Ralph Pugay, Samantha Wall, Sara Siestreem & sidony o’neal

#ACTforART is a citywide art action that features the work of twelve Oregon artists throughout Portland's public spaces. Converge 45 conceived the project as a series of commissioned posters that share each artist's vision with residents and visitors alike during this unprecedented moment when indoor art experiences are severely limited by the pandemic. This is in lieu of Converge 45’s traditional annual program of hosting significant exhibitions and gatherings to experience regional and national art.

What can you do to support the arts in Portland, Oregon?

Seek Opportunities for the Arts

…by telling your elected officials we must increase public support for the arts immediately. Ask your representatives to #ActForArt, get out there and vote, and spread the word that the arts need support!

Buy Art

The best way to support an artist is to buy their art. You can also support the arts by buying a membership to the Portland Art Museum and purchasing tickets to live or virtual events. Don't forget to bring a friend!

As we rebuild the economy, we must consider our role as individuals and civic leaders in maintaining a network of art institutions, schools, studio spaces, and critical platforms that are accessible to all Portlanders. Below are links to studies and reports that support our call to #ActForArt
